We were very grateful to be invited to Leona and David Wiebe’s farm for a wiener roast and afternoon of fun this summer! When we arrived at the farm, Leona greeted everyone and showed us to the backyard where she had a fire ready for roasting and a variety of games all set out for everyone. We roasted hotdogs over the fire and enjoyed watermelon salad and chips alongside. For dessert, Leona served us delicious vanilla ice cream with home grown raspberry puree.

After lunch individuals and staff visited, enjoyed the beautiful weather and Wiebe’s beautiful yard and had many laughs playing games in the yard. Leona sent each house a bundle of garden veggies to enjoy. Everyone looks forward to coming back again next summer!!
