June Creativity

Over the last few weeks individuals have been working on many different creative projects and the results have been spectacular!

All three houses worked on Father’s Day cards and gifts for their dad’s or other important people in their lives.  Golf, superheroes, and coffee were themes that inspired many of these pieces.  They all turned out wonderfully and certainly the men who received them felt the love that went into each piece. Karly was planning to include a sweet treat with hers as well.

Each house worked on special “Thank You” canvases which will be shared with our volunteer board at our AGM (don’t worry, they will receive them before you see this post).  There were different techniques used to create these pieces of art and it was great to see the end results! Each canvas turned out so unique!  We hope the recipients enjoy having these small pieces of our gratitude.

Karly was inspired to create a large banner about herself and her interests and is excited to hang it in her room once it is complete!  What a big undertaking Karly!!!  We are excited to see updated pictures as you progress with this project!

Bradley, Margaret, Brooke, and Irene collected and painted rocks for their year and bedrooms.  Everyone chose the colours and pattern they wanted to create, and it is great that they have found a project that they enjoy so much and want to continue doing.

As always, everyone has been staying busy and individuals have created many beautiful pieces of art recently!
