On Friday, May 6, we gathered with the invited guests chosen by each person to celebrate mothers. We shared hugs, laughter, and delicious treats through the morning. It was a wonderful time spent together and we are so glad that many guests could join us!

We had more than 25 guests join us for our celebration. Liam was joined by his mom and grandma, three generations celebrating together! Alivya, our youngest guest seemed content to be hugged and held by many for her first Mother’s Day Celebration. Brooke had a table full of love with her mom, grandma, some aunts and even an uncle who stopped in for a visit! Everyone had a lovely time and some of our little visitors made new friends.

We were fortunate to have Kristine’s son and husband, Jirus and RJ join us and share a beautiful song. Jirus is a talented young man with a beautiful voice. Thank you for joining our celebration.

Many thanks to the Clearview Community Church for the beautiful, accessible space, Buy-Low Foods for donating flower for the centerpieces, the Salvation Army for lending us beautiful tea cups for our center pieces, and the Group Homes for the delicious baking. We are also very grateful to Leona Wiebe for assisting with set up and clean up and all the staff who planned and prepared in advance and those who made it all run smoothly on the day of! You were an important part of bringing happiness to many and we appreciate your contributions!
