To serve and create opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities to live a rich life of quality and enjoyment
Our Services are designed to provide persons with disabilities the opportunity to enhance their quality of life, to build their confidence and achieve as much independence as possible.
WCA is actively fundraising for several projects we have underway. Help us meet our goal!
Thank you from myself and the West Central Abilities Board of Directors to all the staff that are continuing to keep our clients healthy and happy during this pandemic. We appreciate all of your efforts in helping flatten the curve. Please stay safe and remember hand washing is key.
Thank you again.
WCA, Board of Chair
On behalf of West Central Abilities Inc. and the Board of Directors, I would like to extend my gratitude to the staff team of WCA who quickly came together, supporting one another as this pandemic continued to develop in our province. Our dedicated team were quick to implementing our emergency continuity plan for the safety of everyone involved in our services.
The direct support workers in our organization are some of the most amazing, dedicated staff team around. WCA is extremely proud of our staff team. They have proving to be the most giving, innovative, resourceful group to work with, they have come together in full support ensuring everyone is safe and staying healthy.
Our focus remains on keeping everyone safe and healthy during this pandemic. It is extremely important that our services will not be compromised for our clientele. Our office is closed to the public, SARCAN operations have ceased, day programs have been modified, and our staff teams are working diligently implementing all safety measures.
While safety protocols have been implemented and no visitors are allowed at this time, we do encourage family members and friends to continue communicating with their loved ones by phoning, writing letters, etc.
We will continue to do our best to keep your loved ones safe and healthy during these unprecedented times.
Stay safe and well our friends, family and community.
Please continue to stay home as much as possible, wash your hands and take those extra steps for safety measures.
Take care everyone!
