Special Day

Spend this day writing letters and cards or drawing pictures and sending them away to friends and family to keep in touch!  Individuals may choose to send items to their friends from other houses or their cousin in Alberta. (The office has lots of envelopes so let us know if you need any in advance!)

Wear your favorite warm and cozy sweater and snuggle up for Friday Movie!!!  Send the office some pics of your warm looks!!

Each house will have a scheduled time to come for a visit with our special guest during the day! Those who wish to attend will come with Program Staff for their scheduled time. Group Home 1 9:30- 10:30 am, Group Home 2 11:00 am-12:00 pm, Group Home 3 1:00-2:00 pm

This is a day to spread KINDNESS in a physically distant way!  Go out for a drive, in small groups and wave to every vehicle you meet!!  Drive past the homes of friends and family and give them a honk and a wave!

Everyone is invited to wear their coziest outfit or their PJ’s and make French Toast for lunch!

Make and decorate your finest gingerbread creation!

Elvis’ Birthday: Celebrate “The King” on his birthday by watching an Elvis movie, eating his favourite lunch, a fried peanut butter and banana sandwich, and shaking your hips to Blue Suede Shoes!!

Choose a recipe or two that everyone wants to try and make a cheesy meal!!  Fondue, grilled cheese, mac and cheese, a cheese and cracker tray, mini cheesecakes for dessert, etc.!!!  There are so many ways to use cheese!  Do not forget to send in pics of your cheesy creations!!
